In 2071, after the complete fucking collapse of habitability around Earth's equator, the world's largest coffee conglomerate merged with the PMC, media, and surveillance sectors. GEMINI became the world's second true megacorporation, after Metafold Co-Prosperity.

By 2096, GEMINI was in full control of Cascadia (a sovereign nation formerly known as the states of Washington, Oregon, BC, and NorCal). With the United States of America liquidating its military holdings and intelligence apparatus, GEMINI stood to inherit a deadly legacy.

GEMINI stood with Metafold against the Hivers of Mainland Sino. The Hivers, whose social and genetic experiments were believed to be responsible for the string of contagions and mutagens that ravaged the global population through seven pandemics starting as far back as 2020, were the last true 'nation-state' on Earth.

At the battle of Taipei 101, GEMINI gave the historic order to fire upon the Egg, which lead to the world as it stands today in 2152 -- an uncertain, terraformed mess.
